Today I received an invitation to a church Easter egg hunt with events such as "horse shoe, kroka, and badmitten."

Most college-educated men don't consider marriage as a serious possibility until age 26. In fact, they enter a phase of high commitment between the ages of 28 and 33.
Men who've gone on to graduate school--doctors, lawyers, etc.--hit their commitment-peak phase during ages 30 to 36.
I don't really have any personal investment in these facts, but I thought they were interesting.

I realized today that I spent 4.5 hours at church last night (after work)--and I left before everything was over.
No wonder I'm tired!
No wonder I'm tired!

This afternoon it took me an hour to go 2.8 miles. And I wasn't walking.
So you can imagine how relieved I was to hear on the radio a few minutes later that "traffic equals Montgomery politics." If I vote for the right person, I'll never get stuck in a traffic jam again.
But, in the meantime, if your RV breaks down in the middle of a major highway at rush hour, would you mind moving it out of the way?

I went outside to take some pictures. It had rained overnight, and everything was beautiful.
Everything was fine until I felt a stinging sensation on my ankle. I looked down and saw dozens of ants swarming around my foot.
I ran up to the porch to take my shoe and sock off.
SQUEAK! My shoe slipped on the wet concrete.
WHAM! My body slammed down onto the concrete.
WHOOSH! My camera flew into the air.
BAM! My camera landed on the ground, lens down.
It's definitely broken.

Only in Alabama would a promotion for the state Baptist handbell festival say
This weekend DOES NOT conflict with race weekend.

Radio station #1: ...And everything looks clear on area roadways.
Me: Enter the interstate and slam on brakes.
Radio station #2: No problems to report as we move through the 7:00 rush hour.
Me: Stare at dozens of brake lights.
Radio station #3: A crash has just been reported on interstate 65 south of town, but everything else looks like smooth sailing.
Me: Crawl along at 10 miles an hour.
Radio station #4: Traffic's moving along with no prob--
Sigh.

In the 1960s, 1.6 percent of all women ages 25 to 34 were single college graduates.
Today college-educated singles make up 28 percent of all women ages 25 to 34.
Just to clarify... I'm not on some marriage-bashing kick. I don't care if I end up single or married. I just thought these statistics were interesting.
