Most college-educated men don't consider marriage as a serious possibility until age 26. In fact, they enter a phase of high commitment between the ages of 28 and 33.
Men who've gone on to graduate school--doctors, lawyers, etc.--hit their commitment-peak phase during ages 30 to 36.
I don't really have any personal investment in these facts, but I thought they were interesting.
