Radio station #1: ...And everything looks clear on area roadways.
Me: Enter the interstate and slam on brakes.
Radio station #2: No problems to report as we move through the 7:00 rush hour.
Me: Stare at dozens of brake lights.
Radio station #3: A crash has just been reported on interstate 65 south of town, but everything else looks like smooth sailing.
Me: Crawl along at 10 miles an hour.
Radio station #4: Traffic's moving along with no prob--
Sigh.
