in search of a tropical island far away from here...

70 degrees set on the thermostat
55 degrees inside (after the heat has been running non-stop for hours)
17 degrees outside
6 degrees wind chill
4 blankets on the bed
3 pairs of socks
2 shirts
1 winter coat (inside)

If I wanted to live in Alaska/Minnesota/Siberia, I would have moved there! :P

    I'd suggest saving the money you'd use toward a tropical vacation and get your heater/thermostat fixed instead. :)

    There's nothing wrong with the heater--it's just a drafty house.

    But now I'm up to 66 degrees.

    Maybe a space heater to warm you up while you're waiting? :) I have a heated blanket and it's the best thing in the world! (ok.. maybe I'm over-exagerating a little but it's still pretty nice!)
