
During the Civil War years, Lottie Moon taught Sunday School at this church close to her house. It was called Pine Grove Church then.

Lottie Moon's father helped build Scottsville Baptist Church in a nearby town in 1842. The same basic building still stands today.

The Moons donated their parlor furniture to the church.

There were some interesting items in a display case, but it was hard to get a good picture of them. We weren't sure if these were actually Lottie's items or not.
