Oops.
--thought in the middle of the night when I realized I had left the folding chairs on the porch
Uh oh.
--thought a few minutes later when I heard a chair fly through the air and crash into things
Ooooh.
--thought when I heard that my work was delaying opening all the way until 8:30
Hmmm...
--thought when I went outside and saw that both chairs were still in place, and realized that something else must have been flying through the air

For those of you who haven't been here, here's the view from my house (when there's not a hurricane).
I just heard that noise again: the one that sounds exactly like a squirrel, cat, or possibly larger animal just hurled through the ceiling and crashed into the bathtub.
If you were here, you would think it sounded like that too.
But I never do find any squirrels in the bathtub.

In some settings I'm really quiet. I'm not really sure why, though. I'm not like this everywhere. And I'm not quiet because I'm uncomfortable or nervous. Really, I guess there's just nothing to say.
Here are a few pictures from my trip to England. There are more pictures and information on my Yahoo photos page.
We saw some interesting signs on our trip. The best one was the "elderly person crossing" with a picture of a stooped-over grandma. Sorry I don't have a picture--you'll have to use your imagination.
I got back, no problem. I'll post some pictures later, maybe. For now, here are some links to articles and pictures:
